West Coast: I'm In Love

I hope everyone is having a great week so far. Having just returned from a week in Thailand, I thought I should share a few photos on how to dress for the beach. Beaches and summer go hand in hand. Even though you might not really go to the beach that often (exhibit a-me and my pale skin), it's always fun to dress like you've just returned from somewhere exotic.

Colour blocking shirts like this one from UrbanOutfitters are always a nice way to bring some liveliness to an outfit-not too bold, but definitely making a statement. The best thing about these shirts is that it's doing all the colour matching for you. All you need to do is pick out a pair of solid neutral shorts (or swim-shorts if you're up with dressing to the theme) and you're good to go. Why complicate things when all you should be doing is enjoying the warm embrace of the sun and the gentle sea-breeze (clothes off or on).

You can always go with the tank-top and shorts combo for extra comfort, but that means you'll have to quickly change when going for a drink with your mates later on in the evening.
